Our Elevator Pitch

Modular Misfits solves the integration nightmare that haunts government and defense systems. Right now, agencies are stuck with brittle, proprietary tools that do not talk to each other, cannot scale, and take forever to adapt. Every time a new requirement drops, it turns into a multimillion-dollar retrofit just to make data flow between silos. We fix that problem at the core.

Our AI-native framework replaces rigid pipelines with an adaptive, modular mesh that connects systems without moving the data. It learns from use, adjusts in real time, and improves continuously. Think of it as the final integration layer your mission will ever need. It operates just as effectively in disconnected tactical networks as it does in fully connected cloud environments.

We bring deep expertise in AI observability, high-performance computing, and secure system design. Our founder deployed the first AI service desk at DLA and later scaled it across NESD using AmeliaGPT and Helix. He also designed and implemented the Pentagon’s first heterogeneous SDN, which is still operational today. That experience is now focused on helping agencies stop patching legacy tools and start building mission-ready, intelligent systems.

If your data is trapped, your systems are broken, or your AI lacks transparency, Modular Misfits delivers clarity and control.

Our mission

Modular Misfits exists to challenge the status quo of industry by proving that innovation doesn’t come from conformity. We are the misfits, the strategic outsiders who reject bloated platforms, rigid architectures, and lockstep thinking. Our mission is to make modularity the default, not the exception, enabling organizations to break free from vendor lock-in and build systems that evolve on their own terms. We don’t follow industry norms, we question them. We don’t build around limitations, we dismantle them.

Our vision

Modular Misfits aims to reshape how technology is built, deployed, and trusted by proving that the most valuable innovations come from those willing to defy convention. Systems are composable, intelligence is explainable, and the people building tomorrow's tools are empowered to question everything. Our vision is a tech ecosystem driven by flexibility, creativity, and fearless reinvention.

Core Values

1. Family First, Self Second, Work Third
We believe that the foundation of real innovation starts with grounded priorities. We value personal well-being and family over burnout culture, knowing that balanced people build better systems and stronger teams.

2. Question Everything
We do not accept the default. We challenge assumptions, disrupt outdated norms, and solve problems by thinking sideways. Being a misfit means never settling for “that’s how it’s always been done.”

3. Build Modular, Think Limitless
Modularity isn’t just technical, it’s a mindset. We design for flexibility, adaptability, and long-term evolution. Our solutions are meant to grow, change, and scale without being rebuilt from scratch.

4. Trust Through Transparency
We believe in open systems, explainable intelligence, and clear intent. Whether it’s with clients, partners, or algorithms, we operate in a way that earns trust through visibility and accountability.

5. Mission Before Ego
We’re not here for titles or credit, we’re here to solve hard problems that matter. Our focus is impact, not accolades, and our success is measured in how well we enable others to succeed.
